I did not like X-Men: The Last Stand. As a result, I entered X-Men Origins: Wolverine with my mouth sour from the waste-of-a-movie the third installment was. This new film will disappoint fans, as it was too quick and the end seems pushed. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the story of everyone's favorite claw-wielding, scowl-giving and unshaven superhero prior to his spandex days with Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm. (0) comments

So often with movies based on books, the film leaves viewers wanting more, and Twilight is no exception. Twilight is about a forbidden teen romance between Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). (0) comments

A Clockwork Orange (1971), directed by Stanley Kubrick, is based on the 1962 novel by Anthony Burgess of the same name. The film is based on Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) and his three droogs Pete, Georgie and Dim and is set in future England in 1995. Several scenes of ultra-violence demonstrate them committing a rape, beating up a homeless man and brawling with a rival gang. (4) comments

What better way to commemorate the last day of classes than a huge party put on by Brockport Student Government called Brock The Port? "It's a year-end celebration with fireworks, inflatables, food, games and lots of giveaways," Jeremy Becker, marketing director of BSG, said. (0) comments

Hypnotist Rich Guzzi showed Brockport what students want to see on a college campus Wednesday, April 29. Guzzi allowed roughly 20 people to go on stage to become hypnotized. He said if they were weak or snapped out of it, they must leave the stage. By the end of the show, there were about 12 people left. (0) comments
