Dear Editor,

I feel compelled to express my concern over the treatment of "revenge" sex in the Nov. 30 column "Hooking up on holiday break."

I believe it is dangerous and irresponsible to portray any sexual act as "hot," "exciting" and a "confidence boost," when it is motivated, even in part, by a negative emotion such as rage, dominance, or in this case, revenge.
