The College at Brockport community is mourning the loss of Domenico Fargnoli, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 27. He was 45 years old.

The Churchville, N.Y. resident passed away with his family at his side, according to the Democrat and Chronicle. He is survived by his parents, Domenico G. and Gloria, and his siblings Nick, Angel (Raul) Roman and Gloria (Ed) Underwood.

Friends and classmates may write an online message of remembrance —  known as "lighting a candle" — on the obituaries page on the Walker Brothers Funeral Home website, www.walkerbrothersfh.com.

Acquaintance Mary Jane Fargo wrote, "I knew Dom growing up, and he was always smiling. (I am) glad to have known him through my life and (to have) had the chance to return his kindness. He was placed here to touch many hearts, as he has. Many will miss him."

Fargnoli was a senior communication major with a concentration in print journalism. He was a classmate of many editors and writers at The Stylus.

More about Fargnoli's passing will appear in the Wednesday, Dec. 7 issue of The Stylus.
